At IronBark Dog Park, we strive to provide the highest level of care and service for your furry family members. To ensure fairness and transparency, we’ve outlined our cancellation policies, covering standard cancellations, severe weather events, and community health concerns.
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
- Daycare Services: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled booking to avoid fees.
- Boarding Services: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled drop-off date. If in peak- time such as Christmas breaks, school holidays etc 2 weeks’ notice must be given.
- Late Cancellations: If a cancellation is made outside these timeframes, a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service fee will apply.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to show up without prior notice will result in the full service fee being charged.
2. Severe Weather Cancellation Policy

In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., flooding) that prevent us from running our day programs, the following will apply:
- Refund: A 50% refund of the service fee will be issued for cancelled programs.
- Make-Up Days: We will make every effort to reschedule the missed session, subject to space availability.
- Safety is our top priority, and cancellations due to severe weather will be communicated promptly via phone, email, or text message.
3. Community Health Cancellation Policy

Illness in Humans or Dogs: If you or your dog exhibit symptoms of illness (e.g., contagious diseases, respiratory infections, or gastrointestinal issues), we kindly ask that you cancel your booking as soon as possible.
- Cancellations due to illness will not incur a fee if made at least 24 hours before the service.

Health-Related Cancellations by Us:
- If we need to cancel services due to a community health concern (e.g., canine flu outbreaks or public health emergencies), you will receive a 50% refund for affected bookings.
- Make-Up Days: We will work to reschedule cancelled sessions once it is safe to resume, based on availability.
4. Emergency Cancellations
- We understand emergencies happen. If you need to cancel last-minute due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.
